We’re Open and Happy to Be Back

Your health and safety are our primary concern!

We understand there is a lingering level of anxiety and fear about contracting the Coronavirus (CV), and that you want to take all the necessary precautions to protect yourself and your family. We feel the same way too.

Please know that we are doing everything possible to minimize the risk of exposure to the Coronavirus at our office and continue to provide the high-quality healthcare you expect and deserve.

Now, more than ever, it is important to be our best.

Reducing the effects of physical, emotional, and nutritional stress is one of the best ways to get healthy and build immunity. The services we provide at Oasis Chiropractic Center are designed to do just that. However, due to the pandemic, we must adapt and modify the way we deliver them.

These are the new safety procedures we are implementing:

Prior to your visit, we will be calling to ask:

  1. Have you had a fever or felt feverish in the last 14-21 days?
  2. Have you had shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
  3. Have you had a cough?
  4. Have you had any flu-like symptoms, such as gastrointestinal upset, headache, or fatigue?
  5. Loss of smell or taste?
  6. Have you been in contact with any confirmed COVID-19 positive patients?
  7. Have you or a member of your household traveled in the past 10 days? etc.

And some other important Health Screening Questions that will help us determine the potential risk of exposure.

All responses will be kept confidential and will be reviewed by Dr. Starkman who will provide guidance regarding any adjustments to the patient’s scheduled appointment.

Oasis Safety Protocols:

  1. We will not schedule a patient who exhibits any signs of Covid-19, flu, or a cold. We also ask that should you experience any of the above symptoms you immediately call to cancel your visit.
  2. No staff member will come to work if they exhibit any of those symptoms.
  3. It is required to properly wear a face mask /cover while entering the office and for the entirety of your visit. We will not be providing masks to patients and it is ultimately your responsibility to obtain one prior to your visit.   Your mask should cover your nose up to the bridge and cover your mouth down to your chin.
  4. Mask
  5. You will be asked to apply Hand Sanitizer in our waiting room.  Please make sure to apply on the front and back of your hands, palm to palm, interlock your fingers, rub on thumbs and fingernails until dry.
  6. How to Properly Sanitize your Hands:
  7. We will be adjusting the number of patients we see in a day to allow for social distancing; with no more than two patients every half hour.
  8. Visits are by appointment only, no walk-ins.
  9. We ask that you arrive at the office parking lot prior to your scheduled visit and call upstairs to let us know you have arrived. We will then inform you if your treatment room is ready. Non-patients (except for children) will be asked to stay in the car. Please do NOT come upstairs without confirming your room is ready.  If you cannot reach us, please  TEXT the office and wait for a reply.
  10. Patients that arrive late for their appointment may be re-scheduled.
  11. We will no longer be using the waiting room. You will be directed to your treatment room upon arrival.
  12. Should you show any signs of fever your temperature will be taken, if higher than normal we will re-schedule your visit for a later time.
  13. You will find a hand sanitizer in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use.
  14. We will keep the waiting, treatment, and bathroom room doors open to minimize contamination and prevent touching handles.
  15. The staff will disinfect all surfaces a patient or staff comes in contact with.
  16. The doctor and staff will wear protective KN95 Face Masks and clean their hands with waterless hand sanitizer and/or soap and water when entering and exiting treatment rooms, and before and after touching each patient, whether or not gloves are worn.
  17. We will no longer offer blankets/ towels in our treatment rooms. Please bring warm clothing as the office can be cold. Women should wear pants/leggings as towels and blankets cannot be provided for modesty.
  18. Due to privacy and consideration of others, we currently have a strict No Cell Phone Policy in the office. Please make your necessary calls/texts before arriving and turn your cell phone OFF before entering. Now, more than ever, it is important to focus on your health and healing.
  19. Payments will be made using a Touchless Credit Card Reader at the front desk window. You can choose 5 ways to pay. This is also where you can schedule your next appointment.

  20. If you are purchasing supplements, products, etc., your items will be placed on the pick-up table.

We believe that these measures are necessary to care for each other in this new phase of life. We appreciate your continued trust in our abilities to provide good healthcare.

We are so happy to see you again and hope that we have eased your mind with our protocols. We know together we will get through this and be better, healthier, and more conscious people.

See you soon! Remember that the new handshake is a wave, head nod, bow, or Hawaiian shaka, take your pick.

Yours in Health,
Dr. Myles Starkman
